Khaberni - "Microsoft" announced the repair of a very serious security vulnerability in its systems, described as one of the most dangerous vulnerabilities the company has faced in its history.
"Microsoft" explained in a statement that the vulnerability was discovered in the way internet requests known as (HTTP) are processed, and could allow attackers to bypass security systems, access sensitive data, or completely disable the targeted servers.
The company added that it has not yet detected any actual exploitation of the vulnerability but urged users and developers to apply security updates immediately to secure work environments.
It also called on users of ".NET 8" and later versions to install the latest available updates.
"Microsoft" concluded its statement by affirming its ongoing efforts to enhance the security of development environments and cloud services, in the face of increasing attempts to exploit electronic vulnerabilities worldwide.
