The White House announced today, Tuesday, that President Donald Trump has received today the "Architect of Peace" Award (Architect of Peace Award) granted by the Richard Nixon Foundation, during a ceremony held at the White House in the American capital.
This award, established in 1995, is granted to individuals whose work embodies "Former President Richard Nixon's lifelong goal of shaping a more peaceful world."
According to reporters, the award ceremony was attended by Nixon's daughter, Tricia Nixon, along with a number of well-known figures in American politics, as reported by CBS News.
For his part, Trump reviewed in his speech saying that he believes this honor is a culmination of his efforts in mediating a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, which his administration recently accomplished, stating that this marks a turning point in his international role as a mediator in conflicts according to CBS News
