His Highness emphasized the need to develop the services provided by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, especially in vital sectors, in coordination with the relevant entities.
The Crown Prince called for taking the necessary measures to enhance public safety in Aqaba, especially in factories, to ensure a safe working environment.
His Highness listened to explanations presented by the chairman of the authority commission, Shadi Al-Majali, and board members, about the authority's plans for the next three years, which focus on sustainable development and enhancing the investment and tourism environment in Aqaba.
Al-Majali reviewed the main targeted performance indicators and the timeline for implementing priority projects, with the aim of improving service efficiency, expanding the base of quality investments, and supporting sustainable tourism programs to enhance Aqaba's position as a regional economic and tourism hub.
