Khaberni - The Public Prosecution broadcasted a short while ago on its official social media pages, the plea in the case of the accusation of the Jordanian Suzy before the Economic Court.
The representative of the Public Prosecution in case number 19 for the year 2025, Economic Affairs Misdemeanors, known in the media as Jordanian Suzy, began the plea, saying: "He who reforms himself masters it, and he who neglects himself destroys it; change within the nation's condition only occurs when every individual in society starts to reform themselves and refine their behavior," emphasizing the Public Prosecution's role as caretaker in the lawsuit and defender of societal values to bring this plea driven by its zeal for enforcing the law and on those who transgress it, especially such incidents that affect our society's violated values and principles.
The plea added that the accused had conceived two years ago, when she was seventeen, to create an electronic account on social media applications, named it Jordanian Suzy, and posted her first video clip during school sessions with her classmates, in the classroom. It gained popularity and spread among the users of that application, and since then she started to publish several visual scenes, making this behavior a means of earning and a source of livelihood aiming for fame and quick riches, which might amount to millions of pounds without considering her academic journey or her educational future. Thus, following her desire for notorious fame, hundreds of children and youth from our society got involved and she achieved these gains from unknowns, who have their own ideas and goals that are offensive to the familial values and principles of the Egyptian society.
The Public Prosecution and the General Administration for Information Technology have observed many widespread video clips on her electronic accounts, at times discussing private matters that are indecent to utter, and other times using expressions, terms, sexual insinuations, and hints, violating the familial values and principles in the Egyptian society.
During the plea, the representative of the Public Prosecution demanded imposing the maximum penalty on the accused, with a just and deterrence verdict that restores balance to the scales, aiding in purifying the society and protecting our children and youth.
