Khaberni - With an ambitious vision for the future of technical and vocational education in Jordan, Al-Manaseer Group held a meeting chaired by Engineer Ziad Al-Manaseer, chairman of the group's board of directors, attended by His Excellency Dr. Mamdouh Al-Abadi, chairman of the Luminous College board of trustees, Mr. Saad Al-Dajani, president of the college, His Excellency Dr. Mohammad Abu Qudeis, dean of the college, and a number of advisors to discuss the strategic transformation and development plan of the college in the coming years.
The meeting discussed the college's future vision and development plan aimed at making it a leading educational institution locally and regionally in the field of technical and vocational education, through excellence, innovation, and linking educational programs to job market requirements, and applying the best global practices adopted in major industrial countries such as Germany and Singapore.
Engineer Ziad Al-Manaseer emphasized during the meeting on the importance of developing an innovative educational system that embodies the features of the future and prepares graduates who are qualified with job market skills locally and internationally, contributing to the enhancement of economic growth, job creation for youth, and reducing unemployment, in alignment with Jordan's economic modernization vision.
The meeting also reviewed the college's future vision to become a leading technical university and a beacon of knowledge and innovation, working to integrate modern technology and artificial intelligence into academic programs, enhancing the educational experience and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, and contributing to empowering students with skills in innovation and entrepreneurship.
The strategic objectives also included developing academic programs according to the best international practices, and enhancing partnerships with industrial sectors and the job market, especially in the fields of energy, information and communication technology, banking sector, automotive technology, hospitality and tourism, health, and agricultural technology, in addition to creating an inclusive and stimulating educational environment for students.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to prepare a clear execution plan with defined timelines and key performance indicators, alongside conducting the necessary studies to explore modern trends in technical education and vocational training.
