Khaberni - October 20, 2025 – For the second consecutive time, the Jordan University of Science and Technology continues to lead by topping the Jordanian universities in the National Integrity Index - the second session for the year 2024/2025, launched by the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission to measure the commitment of national institutions to standards of integrity, transparency, and good governance, under the patronage of the Prime Minister.
119 national institutions participated in this session of the index, including all Jordanian universities and a number of ministries, agencies, and government administrations, competing in implementing standards of integrity, transparency, quality of services, and good governance.
It is worth mentioning that the Jordan University of Science and Technology had won first place in the university category in the first session of the index two years ago, and today it maintains its leading position for the second consecutive time, confirming its institutional approach solidified in enhancing the principles of integrity, transparency, and administrative excellence.
The National Integrity Index relies on precise and stringent international standards in evaluating institutional integrity, based on scientific indicators and objective measurement tools that reflect the extent to which institutions are committed to the highest levels of transparency, accountability, and good governance.
This achievement is a culmination of the university's continuous efforts to promote values of fairness, accountability, and transparency in its academic and administrative environment, and to establish principles of integrity in university work according to the best institutional practices.
The university president, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Salem, expressed his pride in this national recognition, affirming that this achievement reflects the university's steadfast commitment to applying the highest standards of governance and administrative excellence, noting that the university continually works on developing its administrative and academic system in alignment with the national modernization vision led by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
Al-Salem added that achieving first place is the fruit of collective work and synergistic efforts from all its staff, appreciating the awareness of the students and members of both the teaching and administrative bodies in adopting values of transparency, responsibility, and integrity in various aspects of university work.
This achievement serves as a new confirmation of the Jordan University of Science and Technology's status as a leading national academic institution in institutional and administrative excellence at both the national and regional levels.
