Khaberni - Petra University has achieved a new milestone by advancing in the QS ranking of Arab universities for 2025, ranking 124th among Arab universities, advancing several spots from the 2024 ranking.

Professor Dr. Rami Abdel Rahim, President of Petra University, received the ranking certificate during his participation in the QS Arab Forum held under the sponsorship of Sultan Qaboos University in the Sultanate of Oman, attended by a group of leaders in higher education and experts in university rankings in the region, and under the patronage of Her Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Sultanate of Oman, Professor Dr. Rahma Al Mahrooqi.

It is noted that the QS ranking is among the most prominent global university ranking systems, issued annually by the British company Quacquarelli Symonds, with the aim of assessing the quality of higher education institutions based on a set of criteria including academic reputation, employer reputation, research quality, and academic impact.
