Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, commenced the celebrations for his seventy-fifth birthday in the "Channel 14" studio, which he considers his "warm home", accompanied by his wife Sara and dozens of his supporters.
The attendees sang him a religious hymn, applauded him for a long time and honored him, while he made statements contradicting the plan of American President, Donald Trump, who had declared the end of the war.
Netanyahu stated that the war will only end when all bodies are returned and "Hamas" is disarmed.
This coincided with the announcement by his close minister, Avi Dichter, that "the war will resume in a few months until we achieve all its goals."
"I will run in the elections," Netanyahu confirmed, expressing confidence that he "will win and remain the prime minister for many years."
During the interview, the right-wing broadcaster, Yanon Magal, who claims to love Netanyahu, asked the Prime Minister: "Tell me please, where do you get this strength in facing local and global pressures from friends and foes, to the extent of having international arrest warrants issued against you in the Hague court?".
Netanyahu replied: "Firstly from my lioness wife. She's a tremendous treasure. She has an extraordinary capacity to absorb anger and abuse and to stand psychological in the face of these; we entered a war (people like lions), and my heroically great wife stood by my side like a lioness", adding: "Of course, I draw strength from you; you did not succumb to the incitement I was subjected to."
It is known that Netanyahu was born on October 21, 1949, and he began celebrating his birthday in an interview with his preferred channel which gets his exclusive statements.
In the last part of the interview with him, which occurred on the night of Saturday-Sunday, the broadcaster surprised him with an on-air celebration, saying: "You are entering your seventy-fifth year. We wish you a very long life, infinite giving, and continued leadership of this people to safety; for you are the best leader for us."
"War of Resurgence," Netanyahu said: "On the eve of my birthday I will pass a historic decision in the government, not only for Israel but for the Jewish people, which is changing the name of the war from 'Iron Swords' to 'War of Resurgence'; we faced a war threatening our existence and emerged victorious. We rose after the debacle that befell us."
Netanyahu had made political statements that were met with enthusiastic applause, and he said: "I will also run in the upcoming elections and I will win them... I will not reopen the Rafah crossing until further notice; because I am determined to fully implement the agreement (after the meeting his office issued a statement saying that (the reopening will be reconsidered based on the degree of 'Hamas'' compliance with its obligations to return the bodies of the dead and implement the agreed proposal)", then "Channel 11" quoted a senior Israeli official saying that "Netanyahu is considering moving military forces from the withdrawal lines specified by the ceasefire agreement under President Trump's plan". And he pointed out that this will be until a date determined by Israel, and in the event of not releasing the bodies of the prisoners from the Gaza Strip, it will be until then.
He added that "in addition to closing the Rafah crossing, Israel is considering imposing other sanctions on 'Hamas' to pressure it to release the remaining bodies of its prisoners in the sector," according to "Channel 11".
A call with Biden and Netanyahu recounted what happened in the heated call between him and former U.S. President, Joe Biden, in May of last year, on the eve of the occupation of Rafah; the city, the axis, and the crossing.
He said: "No one was supporting me in this decision. I made it despite all the opponents, and I defied all the pressures. President Biden is my friend. I have known him for a long time. When he told me he would cut off our weapons if we entered Rafah, I replied: (Joe, you are the President of the United States, and I am the Prime Minister of Israel. You threaten to cut off the weapons, and in fact, you cut off our weapons. But this does not deter us. It is my duty to defend Israel's security interests). And a few days later, he sent me Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken. He told me: Bibi, the president is serious in his threat to cut the weapons. I told him: (I know). He said: You will be alone in the war, so what will you fight with? I told him (and here he raised his voice): (We will fight with our nails)."
Then Netanyahu recalled how he convinced President Trump to attack Iran and involve him in its finale, saying: "I reached the conviction that we must wage a war on Iran to destroy its nuclear project 40 years ago. During this war, I made the formal decision. And I set a precise date for that."
He continued: "I went to President Trump in the first meeting after his election, and I gave him a seven-page report from the large pieces including the attack plan, and I went on to explain to him, and clarify the existential threat to Israel. I told him and I tell you today that what happened on October 7, 2023 (the Hamas attack) was an existential threat to Israel," despite Netanyahu having tried to downplay the significance of this attack just a few months before.
