Khaberni - Stemming from the social responsibility of Amman Arab University and enhancing partnership with local community institutions, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the university held a training session on "The Role of Education in Peacebuilding", in cooperation with the Capabilities for Community Development in Mafraq Governorate, presented by Professor Farhan Al-Hasban, a faculty member at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Amman Arab University.
In this regard, Al-Hasban emphasized that the session focused on several key aspects, notably: the importance of activating the role of education as a primary tool for achieving peace and social cohesion, exploring the active and pivotal role of youth in spreading the culture of peace and tolerance, and contributing to reducing the discourse of hate within their social environment, as well as the session included a review of the most prominent practices and mechanisms that enhance the effectiveness of education in building safe and cohesive societies.
It is noted that this cooperation comes within the framework of the commitment of Amman Arab University to its social responsibility and its leading role in supporting initiatives that promote the values of peace and dialogue.
