In the third minute of stoppage time for the first half, Dmitry Vorobiev doubled the lead with an exceptional goal described as one of the most beautiful goals of the Russian league ever.
After intense pressure on the CSKA goalkeeper who attempted to clear the ball out of the danger area, it struck Vorobiev and deflected towards the touchline near the corner of the field.
Just as everyone began to think that the ball would go out, Vorobiev rushed forward, caught it before it crossed the line of the field, and shot from an almost impossible angle – a well-placed ball that nestled in CSKA's net, causing astonishment in the stands.
The goal was described by the "MATCH TV" channel on "Telegram" as "one of the most beautiful goals in the history of the Russian league", praising the player's intelligence and exceptional scoring sense.
Nikolay Komlichenko completed Lokomotiv's trio of goals in the 83rd minute.
Lokomotiv extended its unbeaten streak to 12 matches and is at the top of the Russian Premier League standings with 26 points, ahead of second place Krasnodar (26 points) on goal difference.
CSKA occupies the third position after its tally was frozen at 24 points.
