Khaberni - In an unprecedented event described as the largest since Donald Trump's return to the White House, hundreds of thousands participated in massive demonstrations organized by the "No Kings" movement across the United States, protesting against the policies of the American president.
Over the past hours, more than 2700 demonstrations and events were organized spanning from New York to San Francisco, protesting what participants and organizers consider an overreach of power and a threat to American democracy.
The movement stated that the president “believes his authority is absolute,” emphasizing in their statement: “In America, we have no kings, and we will not yield to chaos, corruption, and cruelty.”
This movement comes months after a previous mobilization that saw millions of Americans participate in June, coinciding with Trump celebrating his birthday with a massive military parade in Washington.
