Khaberni - Al-Wehdat Club announced that the team player Mahmoud Shawkat suffered a sudden health setback.
The club stated in a post on social media:
"We pray to Almighty God to grant our player Mahmoud Shawkat a speedy recovery after a sudden health setback, may it be a purification by the will of God Almighty."
Sources told Khaberni that Shawkat suffered a health setback, so his neighbor and teammate at Al-Wehdat Club, Mohammad Mowali, took him to Queen Alia Hospital.
Shawkat underwent a series of images and medical tests to determine the cause of the illness, and it was decided that he should remain in the hospital for observation after his health condition stabilized.
Shawkat had excelled last Friday in his team's match against Al-Jalil, marking the start of Al-Wehdat's journey in the Jordan Cup championship, where he led his team to a clean six-goal victory, scoring one of the goals.
