Khaberni - Apple quietly revealed a lineup of new devices relying on its latest and most powerful processor, the "M5" processor.
The announcement included the unveiling of a new "iPad Pro" and a new "MacBook Pro," according to the tech website "The Verge."
The company claims that the new processor delivers 3.5 times better performance in tasks related to artificial intelligence than the previous generation. Despite this, Apple is marketing it as an upgrade for devices released several years ago that specifically rely on the "M1" processor.
In addition to the new processor, Apple has upgraded some internal specs to make the devices a bit more powerful and faster than previous generations.
"iPad Pro" with stronger network connectivity
The biggest difference in the new "iPad Pro" devices is the company's use of new communication chips, whether for cellular networks or even for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the "Thread" standard for connecting to smart home devices.
It also used new memory to increase direct read and write speeds from the device, in addition to making the new "iPad Pro" charge faster, reaching 50% charge in just 30 minutes.
In line with Apple's trend toward simple colors, the company launched the device in just two colors, either black or silver, along with versions available in 11 inches and 13 inches.
The starting price of the new "iPad Pro" is $999 for the smallest size and capacity available. Apart from that, the device features a new ultra-slim design and a distinctive OLED screen as well.
"MacBook Pro" with 14 inches
The "MacBook Pro" received the same upgrade found in the "iPad Pro" devices, using "M5" processors, but in the standard version which comes with a 14-inch size.
According to Apple, the new processor offers improvements in artificial intelligence performance and graphic level alongside higher performance and a higher frame rate in various games by 20%.
Apple has increased the maximum storage capacity in the device to 4 terabytes, which had been exclusive to the professional versions of the company's processors.
Apart from that, the device comes with the same specifications as the previous generation that relies on the "M4" processor and there are no significant differences between them.
