Khaberni - US President Donald Trump expects the expansion of the Abraham Accords, expressing his hope that Saudi Arabia will join the agreements that normalized diplomatic relations between Israel and some Arab countries.
Trump said in an interview with "Fox News": "I expect to expand the Abraham Accords soon... I don’t want to say right now, but soon."
He expressed his hope that "Saudi Arabia and I hope to see other countries join," adding: "I think once Saudi Arabia joins, everyone will join. The Saudis showed their interest yesterday."
The Abraham Accords are a series of normalization agreements between Israel and a number of Arab countries, announced in 2020 under the auspices of the Trump administration.
The agreements were first signed by the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain with Israel in September of that year, before Morocco and Sudan joined later.
