Khaberni - Navigational data from the "Flight Radar" platform, specialized in tracking air traffic, show the inability of several aircraft to land at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv during the past hour due to a state of security alert linked to the continuous launch of rocket salvos from Iran and Lebanon towards Israeli cities.
According to monitoring conducted by the Open Sources Unit at Al Jazeera Network, the landing of 6 military and civilian aircraft at the airport was disrupted at the moment the alarm was sounded, including an aircraft belonging to "El Al" and another belonging to "Arkia".
Some aircraft, which were about to land, among them aircraft belonging to the US Air Force, had to ascend again, which clearly indicates a sudden disruption in air traffic over the airport.
The navigational tracks showed some aircraft entering flight patterns and short holding periods, coinciding with a temporary halt in completing the landing procedures. This situation reflects the direct effect of the security alarm on air operations at one of the most sensitive airports in Israel.
This coincides with the Israeli Home Front Command's announcement of the activation of warning sirens around the airport, causing a momentary disruption to incoming air traffic and forcing some flights to delay the landing process.
Warning sirens have been sounding since this morning, Wednesday, in northern Israel and central cities repeatedly, due to the launch of rocket salvos and drones from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran.
Israeli media reported that 25 people were injured by falling rocket debris in central Israel areas, including Bnei Brak.
