The decision by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth to prevent the "Habidko" team from filming has sparked widespread discontent among the team's fans and social media followers, who described the decision as "arbitrary" and "unjustified" against a team that presents satirical sports content that enjoys large Arab popularity.
The platforms' users praised the clean and innovative content provided by "Habidko", affirming that the video that led to the decision did not contain any offense but reflected the authentic Jordanian sense of humor that made the team a local and Arab phenomenon.
In a post, the team expressed its discontent, stating: "The video is free of offense or transgression; it carries a light Jordanian dialect that has reached every Arab home."
Activists and followers demanded that the ministry review the decision, considering that supporting local talents that provide positive content should be a priority in the face of the spread of low-quality content.
"Habidko" stated in their statement: "We have never heard of an entity that supports creators of clean content, but thank God, and thanks to our audience in Jordan and the Arab world.
"It is worth noting that "Habidko" enjoys global popularity, especially in Spain, thanks to its satirical clips about European football clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid, which have garnered significant admiration in the global sports community.
