Khaberni - Google announced the launch of an innovative feature in its video meeting application (Google Meet) that allows users to appear stylish and well-groomed without the need to use real makeup products.

This is implemented through a virtual makeup filter powered by artificial intelligence technologies, in a new step that redefines the competitive landscape in the digital meetings world.

According to TechCrunch, the feature officially started rolling out to users on October 8, on both smartphones and the web version.

The new feature includes 12 different virtual makeup styles that the user can choose from within the Appearance section of the image enhancement settings in the application.

The feature is not limited to just traditional beauty filters, but includes advanced digital tools such as skin smoothing, under-eye brightening, and high-precision whitening, in a direct extension of the appearance enhancement features that Google introduced last year.

The true innovation in the new feature lies in the fact that the filter relies on advanced artificial intelligence algorithms capable of tracking facial features moment by moment, ensuring that the makeup remains fixed in its natural place no matter how much the user moves or changes the camera angle.

Even while drinking coffee or moving their head, the makeup remains stable without shifting or distorting the shape, providing users with a remarkably realistic appearance unprecedented in the virtual conference world.

The feature will be entirely optional, remaining disabled by default and can be manually activated before or during a meeting. After selecting the preferred makeup style, Google Meet will automatically save user preferences to be applied in future meetings, making the experience smoother and more comfortable.

With this feature now in effect, Google enters direct competition with "Zoom" and "Microsoft Teams," which previously offered limited virtual beauty tools, but they did not reach this level of realism and precision in simulating features based on artificial intelligence.
