Khaberni - On Thursday, the occupation army published a new photo of the political bureau chief of Hamas, the martyr Yahya Sinwar, on the first anniversary of his martyrdom.
It is noted that on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the political leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, was martyred after an exchange of gunfire in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, had republished a photo of the political bureau chief for the movement, the martyr Yahya Sinwar.
The photo carried a sentence that Sinwar said in a video clip that appeared during the war on Gaza, which is "The red door to freedom is knocked with every bloodied hand".
On Thursday, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement on the first anniversary of the martyrdom of the chief of the political bureau of the movement, Yahya Sinwar.
Hamas said on the anniversary of Sinwar's martyrdom, "The flood's flame will not dim, and the blood of the martyred leaders will bolster the path of resistance for generations, and the covenant of steadfastness to their approach and loyalty to their sacrifices and journey until the liberation of the land and the sanctities".
Hamas added, "A full year has passed since that heroic epic witnessed by the world, whose hero was the leader of Al-Aqsa Flood battle, Yahya Sinwar."
Hamas continued: "On the first anniversary of your martyrdom, O Abu Ibrahim, rest in peace, for you have delivered the trust, and truly struggled in an effort to lower the enemy’s flag, break its spine, humiliate its leaders, and shake the pillars of its alleged entity. And though your pure body is absent from the land of Gaza, your soul soaring in the sky fills the universe with the knowledge that the blood of martyrs writes a glorious history for Palestine and the nation, and the enemy has failed to achieve its aggressive objectives on the land of the honorable Gaza, and was humiliatingly forced to a ceasefire, not retrieving its captives except according to the will of the resistance and its terms."
