Khaberni - Cairo Amman Bank and the German Jordanian University have renewed the agreement to convert university identity cards into multifunctional smart bank cards for students and faculty and administrative staff, within the framework of the ongoing partnership between the two sides.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Kamal Al-Bakri, the CEO of the bank, and from the university's side by Professor Dr. Ala Al-Halhouli, the University President.
The smart card serves as an identification for university students, enabling them to benefit from a variety of advanced financial and electronic services. These services include cash withdrawals, payments through point-of-sale terminals and online purchasing, and it can also be used as an access card to various university facilities and for paying university fees. Additionally, the card provides holders the opportunity to benefit from global Mastercard offers and from local and international payment companies.
Note that the card can be easily recharged through Cairo Amman Bank branches scattered throughout the kingdom or via the LINC app through eFAWATEERcom owned by the bank or through dedicated Kiosk devices.
It is noteworthy that the adoption of Cairo Amman Bank's smart cards by Jordanian universities reflects the bank's leadership in this field and its commitment to supporting digital transformation in the academic sector and enhancing the culture of financial inclusion among the youth.
