Porn Addiction Leads an American to Kill His TwoYearOld Daughter

Khaberni - The American prosecution revealed that a father from Arizona is accused of leaving his little daughter to die of suffocation inside a car due to extreme heat, as he was watching pornographic films leaving his daughter asleep in the car for more than 3 hours.

The newspaper "DailyMail" reported that the father, Christopher Schultz (37 years old), left his youngest daughter "Parker", aged two, asleep in his parked car outside his home in Marana, Arizona, on a summer day with temperatures reaching 109 degrees Fahrenheit (about 43 degrees Celsius), while he was watching pornographic clips.

The prosecution added that the neglectful father was also playing video games and drinking beer while his daughter slowly died inside a 2003 model Acura car, on July 9, 2024.

Before he returned home, Schultz left his daughter alone in the car twice, first at a gas station, and secondly at a grocery store, where surveillance cameras showed him stealing beer packs, according to court documents obtained by the newspaper.

Schultz initially claimed that he left the child asleep in the car with the air conditioner running for 30 minutes after he returned from shopping around 12:30 pm because he "did not want to wake her up".

However, court records later showed that he was engrossed in video games for more than three hours, until his wife, a doctor named Erika, returned home at four in the afternoon to find the child unconscious inside the car.

The child was taken to "Banner University Medical Center" — the same hospital where her mother works as an anesthesiologist — where she was declared dead an hour after her arrival.

The father later admitted that he knew the car engine would turn off automatically after 30 minutes.

Text messages between the couple after the incident showed that the grieving mother severely reprimanded him for his repeated neglect. She wrote to him: "I have told you repeatedly not to leave them in the car.. How many times have I told you that?" Schultz replied, admitting: "I have killed our daughter", and he added an apology to his wife.

Their daughters told the police that their father sometimes left them alone in the car while he "was busy with games or packing his things", according to police records.

Reports also revealed that his eldest daughter, whom he had with another woman and lost custody of earlier this year, had also been left alone in her father's car in the past but was old enough to restart the engine and save her siblings from suffocation, according to her family's testimony to the police.

The Child Services Department also accused Schultz of repeatedly physically abusing his eldest daughter, stating that he used to slap her, throw her down, and bang her head against the wall.

Despite being charged with first-degree premeditated murder — which he denied committing — his wife still stands by him, describing the tragedy as a "grave mistake".
