Amman Arab University Participates Distinctively in IEEE Jordan Day

Khaberni - Within its commitment to supporting students and encouraging them to participate in technical and engineering events, the IEEE–AAU branch of Amman Arab University participated in "IEEE Jordan Day," which was held at the Applied Science Private University, organized by the IEEE Jordan section, with participation from all IEEE branches of the Jordanian universities.
This year, Amman Arab University participated actively through the IEEE–AAU branch with all its student communities, including: Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Women in Engineering (WIE), Power and Energy Society (PES), Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS), Robotics and Automation Society (RAS), and Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
The participating student communities from Amman Arab University presented a special pavilion where they showcased their major projects, activities, and achievements, offering participants and visitors a chance to learn about the diversity of specializations and innovations executed by students of Amman Arab University in various fields of technology, engineering, and science. The student communities were supervised by: Dr. Omar Tarawneh, Dr. Wala' Al Omari, and Dr. Omar Al Akash, faculty members in the Information Technology College, and Dr. Mai Al Hawamdeh, faculty member in the Pharmacy College, alongside Dr. Layal Al Zaben – Advisor of the IEEE–AAU branch and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, who emphasized the importance of such national events in developing students' technical and leadership skills, and enhancing their sense of belonging, innovation, and teamwork.
On their part, the participating students from Amman Arab University expressed their happiness and pride in representing their university at this significant national event that gathered IEEE students and engineers from various Jordanian universities, affirming that the participation was a distinctive opportunity for exchanging experiences and networking with the IEEE community across the kingdom.
