Dubai Police Launches Autonomous Robotic Patrol DPR 02

Khaberni - Dubai Police General Command announced during a press conference held at "GITEX Global 2025" exhibition in Dubai World Trade Center, the launch of the autonomous "DPR 02" robotic patrol which represents a new generation of advanced police technologies, being able to move autonomously and connect directly to control rooms to provide a faster response and more precise control in various field situations.

The press conference was attended by Major General Khaled Al Razzouqi, Director of General Administration of Artificial Intelligence, and Brigadier General Turki Abdul Rahman bin Faris, Director of General Operations, Brigadier General Mansour Yusuf Al Qergawi, Director of General Administration of Administrative Affairs, and his deputy Brigadier Doctor Ibrahim bin Saba, and the engineer Fareed Al Jouhari from Micro Pulse, the partner company in developing the patrol.

Dubai Police announced that the patrol would start its first mission in Dubai Global Village on Wednesday, explaining that the patrol's development is part of Dubai's ambitious vision towards a safer and more innovative future, and in line with the confident steps towards global leadership in smart security, through quality projects that redefine the concept of modern security on the basis of innovation, efficiency, and technical integration.

Dubai Police explained that the robotic patrol is characterized by precise design and high readiness, operates non-stop with exceptional efficiency, enhancing the capabilities of smart patrols in the field, and providing comprehensive field coverage that supports security personnel in making quick, data-based decisions.

Dubai Police also clarified that the robotic patrol achieves integration with the human element, as the smart systems monitor the full scene in the field and communicate directly with the control room through tight coordination and immediate response, embodying Dubai Police's vision to achieve a security that is more aware, connected and sustainable.

The patrol is distinguished by the ability to enhance security coverage in key areas and roads, self-mobility supported by artificial intelligence, and features a 360-degree surveillance camera system and advanced sensing systems.

These patrols also feature a design that is harmonious with the tasks of surveillance and rapid response, and their ability to navigate and maneuver in urban environments and open roads, being part of a comprehensive vision for developing smart security systems and increasing operational efficiency.

It is worth noting that the launch of the patrol is an advanced step in Dubai Police's journey towards the future of smart security, affirming the continuous commitment to harnessing artificial intelligence technologies and smart systems to enhance the police work system, ensuring the speed of response and performance efficiency in various vital locations.
