Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the raid by the extreme Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / the Noble Sanctuary, as well as the ongoing raids by extremists under the protection of the Israeli occupation police; a blatant violation of the existing legal and historical status of the Noble Sanctuary, desecrating its sanctity, dangerously escalating condemned actions, and provoking unacceptable provocations, emphasizing that there is no sovereignty for Israel over the occupied city of Jerusalem and its Islamic and Christian holy sites.
The official spokesperson of the ministry, Fuad Al-Majali, reiterated the Kingdom's condemnation and strong rejection of the continued unacceptable raids by the extremist minister, and the facilitation by the occupation police of the repeated extremist raids on the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / the Noble Sanctuary; considering them a blatant breach of international law and international humanitarian law, and an attempt to impose facts on the ground through spatial and temporal division of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / the Noble Sanctuary.
Al-Majali warned of the danger and consequences of the continued rejected raids on the Noble Sanctuary by the extremists and by extremists within the Israeli government, demanding Israel, in its capacity as the occupying power, stop these violations and all provocative practices that are a continuation of the racist policies of the Israeli government aimed at continuing its dangerous escalation and unilateral illegal and illegitimate measures in the occupied West Bank and violation of the sanctity of Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem.
Al-Majali renewed the affirmation that the entire 144-dunam area of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is a purely Muslim place of worship, and that the Administration of Jerusalem Endowments and Al-Aqsa Mosque Affairs belonging to the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Places is the legal entity exclusively authorized to manage the affairs of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque / the Noble Sanctuary, and to organize entry to it.
