Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump praised “the beauty” of Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni at the summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh on Gaza, where she was the only woman participating.
The American president, who co-chaired the summit with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, said in a speech, “I shouldn’t say this because it's usually the end of your career if you do, but she is a beautiful woman.”
In the group picture that included about thirty leaders who came from around the world, Meloni was the only woman.
Trump, who is 79 years old, looked for Meloni and said, “I’ll take a risk,” and added, “Where is she? Does it bother you if I say you’re beautiful? Because it’s true.”
Trump said, “She is highly respected in Italy. She is a very successful politician.”
Meloni, who was standing directly behind him, simply smiled.
In September, a New York appeals court upheld a ruling that he must pay $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll, related to a defamation case linked to his conviction for sexually assaulting her.
