Khaberni - US President Donald Trump announced that the war "has ended" in Gaza on his way today, Monday, to Israel and then Egypt where he will chair a "peace summit" in Sharm el-Sheikh, at a time when Hamas is preparing to release the remaining hostages after two years of detention.
Trump told reporters on board the presidential plane, in response to a question about whether he was confident that the conflict between Israel and Hamas had ended: "The war has ended. Okay? Do you understand that?", expressing his confidence that the ceasefire "will hold".
