Netanyahu The War is Not Over

Khaberni - The Israeli occupation Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Israel has achieved significant victories, according to him, and considers that the war is not yet over.

In a related context, Thaer Sheriteh, the spokesperson for the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, stated that the agreement stipulates the release of about 250 prisoners serving life sentences and other high sentences, along with some well-known figures. However, he confirmed that some prominent symbols of the movement, including six notable names, have not yet been included in the release list.

In this context, Sheriteh explained, during an intervention with the media personality Hassani Bashir on “Cairo News Channel,” that the six prisoners are the leader Marwan Barghouti, the prisoner Ahmad Sa'adat, and four other prisoners from Hamas, namely Abbas Al-Sayed, Abdullah Barghouti, Ibrahim Hamed, and Hamed Al-Salameh. He indicated that their names have not yet been listed by the Israeli Ministry of Justice, expressing hope that the Egyptian leadership and the international community would pressure for their inclusion in the deal.

Regarding the execution mechanism of the exchange process, Sheriteh mentioned that the prisoners whose names have been announced have been gathered in "Ofer" and "Negev" prisons, and those to be released to the West Bank will be transported via Ofer prison near Ramallah, whereas those to be released to Gaza or Egypt have been gathered in Negev prison, located near the Egyptian border.

Sheriteh concluded his statement by saying that the handover of the prisoners will not begin until the Israeli detainees held have reached the Israeli side, and that the process will be conducted simultaneously and according to the agreed arrangements.
