Khaberni - The Ministry of Social Development released its achievement report for the month of September, highlighting the key services it provided.
The ministry stated in a press release from the Directorate of Communication and Media, today, Sunday, that it received (8940) studies for the purpose of issuing health insurance cards, (140) transactions for exemption from treatment expenses, while it conducted (125) transactions for the service of settling the rights of heirs, and (1846) transactions related to exemption from work permits.
According to the report, (57) children were enrolled in residential childcare homes, while the number of children delivered to foster families was (9) children, and (6) nurseries were licensed.
The report indicated that the number of women and children benefiting from the services of the social service offices - Family and Juveniles Protection Administration was (252) cases, while the number of juveniles benefiting from the services of juvenile upbringing and rehabilitation homes affiliated with the ministry was (248) juveniles, of whom (92) juveniles benefited from vocational rehabilitation programs. As for the number of working children who obtained psychological and social services and interventions according to case management methodology, it was (94) children.
Regarding the Anti-Begging Directorate's operations, the report revealed that (594) anti-begging campaigns were conducted, during which (919) beggars were arrested.
As for the general registry of associations, the cumulative number of registered and existing associations according to the current Associations Law reached (6058) associations. Thirteen (13) new associations were registered, while the number of requests for amendments to the constitutions of associations was (95) associations, and the number of associations dissolved was (37) associations. The number of temporary bodies that completed their work was (5) bodies, the number of ongoing temporary bodies was (11) bodies, the number of dissolution committees that completed their work was (8) committees, and the number of associations that were issued a warning was (11) associations.
According to the report's data on the activities of the National Aid Fund, the total number of families benefiting from the monthly financial aid program was (48837) families, and the number of families benefiting from the training program was (130) families, while the response rate to the calls received by the fund was 78%.
