A spokesperson stated that as part of the treatment plan for prostate cancer, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation and hormonal therapy.
His medical team said that the disease is "fast-spreading but hormone-sensitive," which means that it might respond to treatment.
This comes after Biden, who is 83 years old, underwent a surgical procedure last September to remove cancerous cells from his skin.
The former President, a Democrat, announced in May that he had metastatic prostate cancer (spread from its original site).
