Khaberni - The administrative committee in the House of Representatives, on Sunday, holds a meeting to discuss the topic of appointments from the stock of the Public Service and Administration Authority.

This comes within the framework of the committee's follow-up on employment files and mechanisms for selecting competencies in the public sector.

Faiez An-Nahar, the head of the Public Service and Administration Authority, recently stated that the new foundations for recruitment and appointment in the public sector focused on enhancing competitive opportunities to fill government jobs, taking into consideration the geographic distribution of different department needs, and enabling the authority to issue controls and standards that ensure fairness and transparency, starting from job advertisements and receiving applications, through conducting competitive exams at the competency assessment center, to holding personal interviews.

In the context of attracting competencies, An-Nahar explained that the foundations allocated 5% of the vacancies for top university graduates with bachelor's degrees from Jordanian universities, contributing to attracting young talents and employing them in serving national strategies and projects.
