Khaberni - Al-Wehdat club fans announced on Saturday evening their return to the stands, and their support for the football team after the war stopped in the Palestinian city of Gaza.

Al-Wehdat club fans had been absent from supporting the team in their usual large numbers for two years, which was one of the reasons that led to the decline in the team's performance and results.

Al-Wehdat has a large fan base, which has contributed with its continuous support to the football team achieving many titles.

Al-Wehdat team holds the second position in terms of the number of local titles won, behind Al-Faisaly, which leads the larger number of championships.

The fans return and await the rise of Al-Wehdat
The announcement of the return of Al-Wehdat club fans coincided with the football team's failure in its match held on Saturday evening, drawing with the last-place team Shabab Al-Ordon 0-0 in the fourth round of the Federation Shield tournament.

Despite the decision of the fans returning to the stands, announced by "Wehdati Group" through an official statement posted on its official Facebook account, the decline in the team's performance and results may affect the audience attendance.

Jamal Mahmoud, coach of Al-Wehdat who recently took over the role from the Bosnian Darko, confirmed that the return of the fans is important for the role it plays in boosting the morale of the players, urging them to give all they have to achieve victories.

Under Jamal Mahmoud's leadership, Al-Wehdat will be required this season to reclaim the title of the Jordanian League Championship, which has been missing from its cabinets for the last four seasons due to the mismanagement in attracting local and foreign players, and the migration of some of its stars to professional playing abroad.

Al-Wehdat team announced a disappointing start in the Asian Champions League 2, having begun their journey with a historic and harsh loss against their host Al-Muharraq from Bahrain 0-4, then lost at home against Al-Wasl from the UAE 1-2.

It is expected that the return of Al-Wehdat club fans will bring great joy to the players of Al-Wehdat team, who are accustomed to the motivating songs and chants that drive them to reflect the best image of their technical and physical capabilities.

In response to the decision of its fans returning to the stands, the official website of Al-Wehdat club posted a picture of the team, commenting on the return decision with the words: "Welcome our winning card, let's write the most beautiful chapter of the story; creating glory from the stands."
