Messi Scores Goal 900 in His Historic Career

Khaberni - Argentine star Lionel Messi continues to make history, having scored goal number 900 in his professional career during his team Inter Miami's match against Nashville SC in the return leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
The goal was scored early this Thursday morning after a special move inside the penalty area, where Messi received the ball, dodged a defender and successfully shot it, giving his team an early lead in the match.
With this goal, Messi became the second player in football history to reach 900 official goals, joining his traditional rival Cristiano Ronaldo, who achieved this milestone in 2024 and currently has a total of 965 goals.

Brazilian legend Pelé occupies the third spot on the list of all-time top scorers with a tally of 765 goals, while Robert Lewandowski is third among current players with 690 goals.

Messi's Stats in Clubs and National Team

Messi entered the match with a total of 899 goals since his first appearance with Barcelona in 2004, before achieving this new milestone.

The Argentine star scored: 672 goals with Barcelona, 81 goals with Inter Miami, and 32 goals with Paris Saint-Germain.

He also scored 115 goals wearing the Argentina national team jersey, confirming his status as one of the greatest football players in history.
