Khaberni - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Saturday that Tehran welcomes a potential American nuclear proposal "fair and balanced," but sees no justification for holding talks with European powers.

In speaking to Iranian state television, Araghchi added that Tehran and Washington exchange messages through intermediaries.

In other news, Araghchi said, "There is no trust in the Zionist regime," reminding that "there have been several ceasefires in the past, in various places, especially in Lebanon," and that Israel "violated them."

He added, "We warn of the Zionist regime's tricks and betrayals."

However, Araghchi reiterated on Saturday Iran's support for a ceasefire in Gaza.
