Radiation and Hormone Therapy Biden Enters New Phase in His Cancer Battle

Khaberni - A spokesperson reported, on Saturday, that former U.S. President Joe Biden is undergoing a new phase of treatment for aggressive cancer diagnosed in May, as relayed by NBC News.

The spokesperson for the former president said, "Part of the treatment plan for prostate cancer involves President Biden currently undergoing radiation and hormone therapy."

He added that the radiation therapy is expected to last for five weeks, constituting a new stage in his medical care.

Last month, Biden also underwent treatment for skin cancer known as MOHS surgery, and a large bandage was seen on his forehead during his last public appearance.

The former president had announced, in May, his diagnosis with aggressive prostate cancer that had already spread to his bones, according to Al Sharq News.

His office clarified at that time, that he was exploring several treatment options to ensure "effective management" of the disease.
