Khaberni - An Arab diplomat accused by a Jordanian hotel of stealing towels has threatened to sue anyone who mentions her name according to what was observed by the website Khaberni.
The diplomat stated that the items which moved from her room to her bag in the luxury hotel in Amman were placed there by mistake and that she is above such deeds.
The management of the famous five-star hotel in the Fifth Circle area of Amman lodged a complaint at the embassy of one Arab country against the lady who identified herself as a diplomat, accusing her of stealing items from the room she stayed in.
Khaberni reported that the stolen items included bathroom towels, face towels, cups, a remote control, a watch, Khaberni, and a robe among others.
In detail, Khaberni reports that when the woman was leaving the hotel, the alarm went off as she passed through the security gate. When the hotel staff requested to inspect her bags, she started screaming and refused to do so on the grounds that she was a diplomat. Khaberni then allowed her to leave the hotel without causing further disturbance and inconveniencing other guests.
After her departure, the hotel officials went to her room and took inventory of the missing items, Khaberni then they filed a complaint with the relevant authorities and the embassy of her country, which contacted the ministry's headquarters in the Arab capital.
