Comprehensive Digital Transformation Application for Orders and Customs Transactions in Amman Customs

Khaberni - The director of the Amman Customs Center, Colonel Ayham Mansour, announced the start of implementing the public service system to receive transactions and requests electronically starting from October 4th, confirming the complete cessation of paper-based transactions, and explained that citizens will not need to visit the center except in cases of utmost necessity.

The director of the center clarified that the activation of the electronic messaging system with the Drivers and Vehicles Licensing Administration has facilitated for citizens to conduct inquiries and technical inspections related to vehicles without the need to travel, thereby saving effort, time, and cost.

He indicated that the new electronic services have enabled clearing companies and transaction holders to communicate with the center and conclude their transactions without personal attendance, adding that this development is a continuation of the digital transformation projects being implemented by the customs, especially with the increasing need for electronic dealing in transactions related to vehicle engines.

He confirmed that the Amman Customs Center now fully relies on electronic systems to complete all its transactions in cooperation with the regulatory authorities and the Licensing Administration, reflecting the progress in the journey of comprehensive digital transformation.
