Khaberni - Oli Romini, an Indonesian national team player, revealed that he completely cut out sugar in the past three months to be fully prepared for the match against Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi team will meet its Indonesian counterpart on Wednesday at the Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah in the opening matches of Group Two of the Asian playoff qualifying for the World Cup, which also includes the Iraqi team, who will meet the Saudi team on October 14th at the same venue.
Romini explained in the statements circulated by the Indonesian media that he underwent a struggle to recover from his recent injury, saying: The injury was severe, it is not easy to recover from it quickly, but I continued to work hard with complete discipline in food, sleep, and everything.
The 25-year-old player continued: Since the injury, I have not consumed a single gram of sugar.
Romini was injured in July and has since worked hard to be included in his country's team list for the current qualifiers against Saudi Arabia and Iraq, and indeed joined the ranks of Indonesia and became ready to play against "Al-Akhdar".
