Khaberni - Media reports suggest that Barcelona star Lamine Yamal will be ready to participate in the Spanish League Clasico against Real Madrid, scheduled for October 26.
The Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported on Tuesday that "all signs indicate that Yamal will be ready to participate in the Clasico."
The newspaper conjectured that the player would join the team practices before the match against Girona in the Spanish League on October 18, and he might also participate in the match against Olympiacos of Greece in the Champions League on the 21st of the same month.
It was explained that Barcelona's medical team "is working at full capacity" to speed up the recovery of the team's injured players, including prominent figures such as Rafinha, Fermin Lopez, Gavi, Juan Garcia, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Yamal.
Barcelona had announced on Friday that Yamal’s thigh and groin injury had worsened, suggesting that he might be absent for two or three weeks.
Barcelona's coach Hansi Flick had caused concern among the fans after stating in a press conference that he could not guarantee Yamal's participation in the Clasico.
The 18-year-old Spaniard is following a strict recovery program to expedite his return to the team.
The coach of the Spanish national team, Luis de la Fuente, had called Yamal to the "Matador" squad but decided to exclude him after receiving a medical report from his club indicating that the player had suffered a setback in the injury he had sustained since the previous international break.
Yamal’s injury during the previous international break was a subject of dispute between the national team and Barcelona, which complained about the player’s exhaustion and fatigue.
