Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Tourism has launched a service for licensing temporary lodges during the pilgrimage season in Mecca and Medina. The ministry, through this service, allows owners of these facilities to host guests of mercy and visitors during the Hajj season, aiming to increase the accommodation capacity and ensure the quality of services in Mecca and Medina.
The ministry clarified that it would make the service available through its portal; to enable operators and investors to obtain the license after meeting the conditions and requirements within five working days.
The ministry confirmed that launching the lodging licensing service during the pilgrimage season in Mecca and Medina is part of its efforts to enhance the experience of the guests of mercy, ensure facilities comply with safety requirements, and achieve compliance of tourist hospitality facilities with regulatory conditions and requirements, in addition to ensuring their commitment to obtaining the necessary ministry license to operate.
