Khaberni - The Social Security Investment Fund announced that it has obtained the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management, following the successful completion of the auditing process performed by IQC International. This achievement is added to a series of institutional successes that reflect the fund’s commitment to implementing the highest standards of quality and governance in managing its operations.
Dr. Ezzedine Kanakrieh, head of the fund, stated that obtaining this international certification reflects the fund's commitment to implementing best global practices in information security and cybersecurity, which are fundamental pillars in sustaining institutional performance and reliability. He added that this achievement is part of the comprehensive digital transformation project being implemented by the fund, aimed at developing the technological infrastructure, enhancing operational efficiency, and elevating the level of governance to align with the state's direction in modernization and development.
He explained that the fund’s compliance with the requirements for obtaining the certification is in alignment with the national cybersecurity framework and the instructions of the National Cybersecurity Centre, indicating that this forms the fundamental cornerstone for building a secure and cohesive digital environment capable of keeping pace with rapid technological advancement and protecting vital information assets.
A representative from IQC International said that the audit results demonstrated a clear commitment by the fund to meet the international requirements and standards of information security and cybersecurity, noting that the fund is among the first public sector institutions to receive this certification.
The acquisition of this certification embodies the goals of the public sector modernization roadmap aimed at empowering national institutions to embrace digital transformation and enhance their institutional readiness, in keeping pace with technological progress and enhancing Jordan’s ability to build a secure and effective digital ecosystem that meets the demands of the digital age.
