He hid her body in a suitcase The killing of a TikToker by one of her fans

Khaberni - Police in South Korea found the body of a famous influencer inside a travel suitcase in a mountainous area in "Mujoe" County, "North Jeolla" Province, just about half an hour after her last live broadcast on TikTok.

The authorities stated that the influencer, named "Yoon Ji Ah", in her twenties, died from strangulation, and there were signs of bruises on her body before her corpse was dumped in a grassy area.

The investigations indicate that the suspect is a man in his fifties known as "Choi", who introduced himself as the CEO of a technology company, and he had a business relationship with the influencer.

According to local media, "Choi" was among the major spenders on the victim's live broadcasts, holding a "VIP" status after spending amounts exceeding one hundred million Korean won to support every live broadcast she appeared in, despite facing a severe financial crisis and losing his home due to debts.

The reports also indicate that "Yoon" was planning to end her dealings with him due to his controlling behavior and excessive demands.

Surveillance cameras showed that the suspect tried to convince her to reconsider her decision the day before her murder, later seen trying to leave his car, but he forced her to stay inside.

Hours later, other cameras captured him dragging a large suitcase from his home and stopping at several locations, the last of which was the mountainous area where the body was found.

The police arrested "Choi" about 12 hours after finding the body, where he initially denied the charge, then later confessed to killing her.

According to preliminary investigations, it is believed that the motive behind the crime is linked to his financial crisis and his obsession with the young influencer.

The police are still continuing the investigation into the case to uncover all its circumstances and motives.
