AlAhliyya Amman University celebrates the graduation of the first cohort of the PsychoSpecialist Qualification Diploma

Khaberni - Under the patronage of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences held a ceremony to graduate the first cohort of students of the Psycho-Specialist Qualification Diploma, which is organized by the Al-Ahliyya Amman University Center for Psychological Care.
Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan emphasized in his speech during the ceremony the importance of preparing specialized personnel in the field of psychological care, stating that the launch of this program came in response to the increasing need in the Jordanian community for qualified specialists to provide psychological support services with high quality and efficiency, contributing to the enhancement of the mental health sector and embodying the university's role in serving the nation and community.
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Professor Dr. Linda Al-Khawaja, welcomed the university president for gracing the ceremony, and congratulated the graduates on this achievement, pointing out that the diploma represents a pioneering step for the university in the field of clinical psychology, as it aims to provide participants with the necessary scientific and practical skills and knowledge to deal with various community groups.
Dr. Heba Fathi presented an introductory presentation about the diploma's themes and content, and expressed her appreciation for the students' efforts and commitment, appreciating the role of the faculty members in the success of the program through training and academic supervision.
The ceremony featured a speech by Ms. Mais Al-Samhouri, director of Mais Al-Samhouri Center for Psychological Therapy, in which she expressed her pride in her affiliation with Al-Ahliyya Amman University, noting that the university was a key station in her professional career, and expressing her gratitude to its administration for its support and empowerment in the field of mental health.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, handed certificates to the graduates amid celebratory atmosphere filled with pride and honor, with the presence of a number of members of the academic and administrative staff and the students' families.
