Netanyahu We will not allow the Palestinian Authority to control Gaza

Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "Israel will not allow the Palestinian Authority to control the Gaza Strip on 'the day after the war,' confirming that Tel Aviv will be 'responsible and involved in the disarmament process of the sector' following the end of military operations."

Israeli media outlets quoted Netanyahu during a security meeting as saying, "No representative from Hamas or the Palestinian Authority will be part of managing Gaza in the future," noting that "Israel's security requires a radical change in the security and political reality inside the sector."

Netanyahu added that "Israel will be responsible and involved in the complete disarmament of Gaza," emphasizing that this is "a fundamental condition for any future arrangements."

Regarding ongoing negotiations on the hostage file, Prime Minister Netanyahu stressed that his government "will not move forward on any of the points in U.S. President Donald Trump's plan before the release of all hostages, alive and dead."

Netanyahu also warned, "If the hostages are not released by the end of the deadline set by President Trump, Israel will resume fighting with full support from all concerned nations."

Netanyahu's statements come at a time when indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas continue, mediated by Egypt and Qatar, with limited signs of progress in efforts to reach a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement.
