Khaberni - The eyes of Jordanians are turned towards basketball where the qualifying league will launch today, Sunday (10/5/2025), with participation from 5 clubs, including Al-Wehdat and Al-Faisaly.
Al-Faisaly, Al-Wehdat, The English Club, The Contractors, and Prince Hamzah Club (Aqaba) are participating in the qualifying league, and 3 teams will qualify from it to the Premier League.
The championship will adopt a league system in two stages, and at the end, the teams in the top positions will qualify to the Premier League.
The championship matches open tomorrow, where Al-Faisaly will meet The English Club at six in the evening, followed immediately by a match between Al-Wehdat and Prince Hamzah Club. All matches of the tournament will be held at the Prince Hamzah Hall.

This league's contests are characterized by the participation of Al-Faisaly Club for the first time, as they will face their eternal rival Al-Wehdat for the first time in the history of basketball, adding more strength, competitiveness, and a significant public presence to the championship.
Al-Faisaly and Al-Wehdat will meet in two matches at the end of the home-and-away stages; the first encounter will be held on the evening of Tuesday, 10/14/2025, while the return match will take place on the evening of Friday, 10/31/2025.
