Khaberni - The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that the Cybercrime Unit is monitoring accounts that are found to be managed from outside the Kingdom, aiming to distribute fabricated images of Jordanian female leaders in order to defame and offend them, thereby surpassing the simplest norms, etiquettes, and the noble Jordanian morals.
He confirmed that the unit continues the technical investigation with those accounts and proceeds with all legal measures inside and outside the kingdom to trace and find the individuals managing them.
The spokesperson called for the necessity to avoid circulating, resharing, or opening links associated with these accounts to avoid prosecution and legal accountability, and to protect phones from hacking as these links may contain electronic viruses.
