Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro Max next year, but it will not have the largest screen in the iPhone series as has been the case.
This is because "Apple" intends to introduce its first foldable iPhone next year, reportedly called the "iPhone Fold," according to a report by "9TO5Mac," a technology news website, reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".
Expectations suggest that the foldable iPhone will feature an exterior screen measuring 5.5 inches, which is very small by the standards of modern iPhones. However, when this screen is unfolded, the size of the inner screen will become 7.8 inches, easily earning the phone the title of having the largest screen among iPhones.
There is not much information currently available about the iPhone 18 Pro Max, but so far, there are no rumors of a change in screen size.
Apple increased the size of the Pro Max model last year, so it is unlikely that further changes will be made in 2026.
Assuming compatibility with the current version, the screen size of the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be 6.9 inches, while the inner screen size of the iPhone Fold will be 7.8 inches.
For the first time ever, the iPhone series from "Apple" will include a model with a screen larger than the "Pro Max" screen.
This may pose a dilemma for regular "Pro Max" users, as not everyone will want to gamble on something new and unknown with the iPhone Fold, especially considering that its price may exceed $2,000.
