Khaberni - The Lebanese judiciary interrogated on Thursday two individuals in the case of illuminating Raouche Rock with the images of former "Hezbollah" secretary generals Hassan Nasrallah and Hashim Safi al-Din.

The national media agency reported that "the investigations into the file of violating the decision of Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and illuminating Raouche Rock with the images of former 'Hezbollah' secretary generals, Mr. Hassan Nasrallah and Mr. Hashim Safi al-Din, continued today."

It added: "Two individuals were interrogated under the supervision of the General Prosecutor Judge Jamal Al-Hajjar, who ordered the release of one of them on bail and the other kept under investigation."

It mentioned that the latter is the owner of the laser device used in the illumination of the rock with the images.

The agency also reported that three other individuals were summoned for interrogation in this case tomorrow, Friday.

"Hezbollah" contravened the decision prohibiting large gatherings during the event, displaying Nasrallah and Safi al-Din at Raouche Rock, in commemoration of the first anniversary of their assassination.

Following this, the Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a statement considering that "what happened in the Raouche area constitutes a clear violation of the content of the approval given by the Governor of the city of Beirut to the organizers of the move, which clearly stipulated that Raouche Rock must not be illuminated at all, neither from the land, the sea, nor from the air, and no light images should be projected on it."
