Khaberni - Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker for Manchester City, has revealed his greatest fears, admitting that he is afraid of death.

Haaland told the Norwegian network "NRK" in an interview published this Wednesday: "In fact, I feel somewhat afraid of death because I don't know what will happen."

These thoughts about death frequently and intensively wander in Haaland's mind before he falls asleep.

The player added: "It makes me feel scared when I lie alone in bed before sleeping and think, what will happen on the day of my death? Will I go to heaven? Will I go to hell? Where will I go?"

Haaland also spoke about dealing with the death of Ivar Ijeh, a close family friend who passed away last year.

He said: "How do I handle this? It's tough.. It's sad that he is no longer here, I will miss him for the rest of my life."

On his deathbed, Ijeh gave important advice to Haaland, urging him to enjoy life.

He added: "He told me to go out on the field and beat everyone and have fun, he wanted me to enjoy my life to the fullest, even without him, and it's important to remember that."
