Khaberni - The Public Institution for Food and Drug, in collaboration with the Royal Administration for Environmental Protection, seized 65 tins of adulterated olive oil in Irbid.
According to a press release from the institution, the seizure was part of the intensive surveillance campaigns carried out by the institution through its branches scattered across various regions of the kingdom to ensure compliance with the approved health regulations and requirements for this year's olive oil season.
The institution indicated that the entire quantity has been confiscated in preparation for its destruction according to standard procedures, and proceedings are underway to transfer the related parties to court for legal action.
