Khaberni - The President of the Arab University of Amman, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Wudyan, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where he was received by His Excellency Ambassador Omar Al-Barzanji, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq, with the presence of Professor Dr. Khair Al-Din Al-Amin, the Iraqi Cultural Counselor, and from the university: Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice-President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Ms. Nadia Al-Qudimat, Assistant of the President for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Khaled Bani Hamdan, faculty member in the Business School, and Mr. Wadeh Mismar, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Arab University of Amman, where the meeting explored the educational opportunities available to students, and the efforts made to enhance the teaching and learning process through its specializations and colleges to achieve excellence, as well as embodying the spirit of leadership, excellence, and creativity among students, and preparing qualified and trained cadres that meet the requirements and needs of the Arab labor market.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Wudyan reviewed the establishment of the Arab University of Amman, the available colleges and specializations, the academic programs and centers hosted by the university, and the educational opportunities available to students in the university, and the colleges and specializations newly introduced by the university that are unique such as the Technical College, the first College of Aviation Sciences in the Arab world, the College of Applied Medical Sciences, the Logistics Science and Supply Chain Management specialization, the Aviation Management specialization, Biomedical Informatics specialization, and Early Childhood specialization at the bachelor's level, as well as unique specializations at the master's level such as the Pharmaco-vigilance and Regulatory Affairs specialization, the Arbitration and Commercial Dispute Resolution specialization, and the Strategic Management specialization. Dr. Al-Wudyan also emphasized the university's commitment to expanding its academic cooperation on the international level, and its continuous efforts to build partnerships with higher education institutions in various countries around the world, contributing to academic and research excellence and enhancing the university's presence and stature on the regional and international scene.
In turn, His Excellency Ambassador Omar Al-Barzanji expressed his pride in the visit of the President of the Arab University of Amman and the accompanying delegation, praising the leading role the university plays in developing higher education in Jordan and the region, and affirmed the Iraqi Embassy's keenness to strengthen academic cooperation ties with the Arab University of Amman due to its distinguished reputation and qualified academic staff, highlighting the importance of overcoming obstacles facing Iraqi students studying in Jordan, and providing all forms of support that contribute to enhancing their educational journey. Al-Barzanji also appreciated the efforts made by the Arab University of Amman in introducing unique programs and modern specializations that meet the requirements of the regional and international labor market, making it a preferred destination for Arab students. He also pointed to the depth of the brotherly relations that link the Jordanian and Iraqi peoples, stating that the education sector forms a vital bridge to enhance these relations and develop them towards broader horizons, and Al-Barzanji emphasized that Iraqi students in Jordan receive special attention and care from the embassy, as they form a fundamental pillar in building the future and reconstructing Iraq through knowledge and education.
This visit reaffirms the Arab University of Amman's commitment to its vision of building bridges of cooperation with regional and international educational institutions, expanding student and academic exchange opportunities, enhancing the university's role as a leading institution in higher education and a catalyst for knowledge and innovation in the region, and establishing fruitful partnerships that contribute to building generations armed with knowledge, values, and capable of competing in various fields.
