Khaberni - The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they raided a gathering of Israeli army soldiers and vehicles inside the "Rosary Sisters" school in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood south of Gaza City yesterday, Monday, inflicting a number of casualties among them.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, said in their statement, "Yesterday afternoon, Al-Qassam fighters managed to raid a gathering of soldiers and enemy vehicles inside the 'Rosary Sisters' school, where our fighters initiated the firing at point-blank range towards the enemy soldiers, causing them to fall between killed and injured, and a number of our fighters threw several vacuum bombs inside two Zionist troop carriers at the location and inflicted casualties on their crews, between killed and wounded, as well as the explosion of a 'Merkava' tank with a 'fedayeen action' bomb and our fighters observed the landing of the evacuation helicopters."

Israeli media reported on Monday evening that a security incident had occurred against army forces in Gaza, noting that initial reports talk about serious injuries among the infiltrating forces after an anti-tank missile targeted an army force in the sector.

Hebrew platforms circulated news about evacuation operations of the dead and wounded in the army to three main hospitals in Israel, while a Hebrew report mentioned that "a disaster occurred with army forces in Gaza City, and there are several dead and injuries in an ongoing security incident, and the number of soldiers who fell into an ambush is 13."

Hebrew sources indicated that the Israeli army has declared the highest state of alert in Gaza, following a series of attacks carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades targeting Israeli military sites, resulting in casualties among the soldiers.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced that the day before yesterday, Sunday, they managed to "explode a Zionist 'Merkava' tank with a highly explosive land mine near 'Street 10' south of the Al-Sabra neighborhood south of Gaza City."

Previously, on September 22, the "Al-Qassam" had announced that their fighters managed to "raid a gathering of soldiers and enemy vehicles and engage with them at point-blank range inflicting casualties, killed and wounded, around Sheikh Redwan Pond in Gaza City."

A statement issued by "Al-Qassam" on September 20 stated, "This morning, Al-Qassam fighters managed to raid a newly established enemy post southeast of Khan Younis in the southern sector with a Qassam force comprising an infantry platoon .. where Al-Qassam fighters stormed the post and targeted a number of 'Merkava 4' guard tanks with various bombs and 'Yassin105' projectiles, also targeting a number of houses fortified by the occupying soldiers with 6 anti-fortification and personnel missiles and machine gun fire, several fighters stormed the houses and eliminated a number of occupation soldiers at point-blank range with light weapons and hand grenades, and Al-Qassam fighters also managed to snipe a 'Merkava 4' tank commander, causing fatal injuries, and our fighters bombarded the surrounding sites of the operation with several mortar shells to cut off reinforcements, and bombarded the operation site with several mortar shells to secure the withdrawal of the fighters from the site, and as soon as the rescue force arrived, one of the martyrs detonated himself among the soldiers, causing casualties between killed and wounded, and the attack lasted several hours, and our fighters monitored the landing of the evacuation helicopters."
